The platform includes both software and hardware specifications, designating compatible phones "Daydream-Ready". Google has also announced a VR mode in Android Nougat to handle high computation needs of virtual reality apps. It is the first VR platform to incorporate material design. Google plans on enhancing some of its stock Android apps to be VR apps. Google's Daydream View headset is priced at $79, which is less than most of its competitors in the market.

Google has announced its headset you'll be able to use with Daydream-ready phones. It's called Daydream View and unlike other VR headsets we've seen before it has a material design. There's a latch on the front to slide your phone in and the controller for the headset is included.
Google Daydream can run apps and games downloaded from the Play Store and makes it easy to find new experiences to use on your headsets. According to Google, there will be over 50 apps and games available on this platform by the end of 2016. That 50 includes Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them tie-in experience and an app called Star Chart. Google also showed off a shooter game from the creators of EVE called GunJack 2.

Hmm... That's a pretty short list, but it will get bigger.

Google's Daydream will enable

us to travel and explore the whole world and beyond, watch movies on a virtual big screen as well as experience sports and concerts just as if you are there, get into games and have much better and way cooler experiences.

With all these stuff, I am pretty

sure that this is one of the best
virtual reality platforms, EVER.
